Tagged

I've just been tagged and given the stylish blogger award! Thanks Becca!

The rules for this award are that you have to state five facts about yourself, so here I go...

1. Mornings are my favourite time to play.
2. Sarah calls me 'Smiley Miley' because when I was a pup, I would open my mouth like I was smiling when given a tummy rub.
3. I get annoyed if someone takes my toys off me, or if I'm beaten in a game.
4. I just adore baths.
5. If someone gives me a behind-the-ear-rub, I'll just love them forever.

Now, I have to tag five people. This is hard. I tag the following...

1. Clare from Live, Laugh, Love - http://livelaughlove-clare.blogspot.com

2. Sylva Willow and Ariana RowanWood from Willow Branches and Redheads - http://branches-redheads.blogspot.com

3. Becca from Chocolate+Puppies+Books+B(r)others=Becca's Life - http://chocolate-n-puppies.blogspot.com

4. Angel from Tweens Bloggin' 4 God - http://tweensbloggin4god.blogspot.com

5. Me the Horse from My Life as a Horse - http://elfhorseslife.blogspot.com/

Now I'm off to comment on these blogs.

Home From Holidays

We're back from our holiday.
It was so much fun up at the farm. There is so much to say, I can't fit it all in!
To start, the people who live there were all friendly and kind, even though I was a little nervous at first to meet. There were many dogs to play with, plus a whole heap of strange looking animals. These included: sheep, pigs, cows, chickens, cats and horses.

Here are the dogs:

Bell (left) and Sam (right). Sam is Bell's dad.

Bell having a rest.

Sam with Oscar.

Tess.

Me chasing Tess.

Brandy (left) and Tess (right). Can you believe they are both pups?

Oscar and Brandy.

Bundy.

Tess, Oscar, Bell and Sam.

Even on holidays I can still get in trouble.

Here is Sarah with all the dogs, minis Oscar.

Myself up the field.

On my 2nd Birthday! Happy Birthday to me...

Here are some of the other farm animals:

The sheep-

The cows-
No, not that one, these:

The Pigs-
This is what they looked like when Sarah went last time (without me)-

And this time. How big they are!

Miley, one of their horses! What a coincidence with the name!! :)

Here is their beautiful Manx cat Rosie. Isn't she cute?

Their are also lots of wild animals in the country. Green frogs are just one of the many types of frogs that live there. There are also kangaroos, cane toads (don't like them), birds of all sorts and much, much more.

Oh yes, in my last post before we left, I mentioned going to the beach.
Going to the beach would have to be one of the best times I have ever had in my life.
At first, I was surprised to see water splash in my face, then I realized that these waves were just even more fun! Once I got dunked, and it was a little scary, but I couldn't let that big wave get the best of me! I ran in the water deeper, and leaped over the next wave! It was so much fun in the water. I also got to chase a few sea-gulls. I didn't catch any because I had to remain on the lead and Sarah is so slow. She just couldn't keep up with me! (I really don't know how those two-legged humans get on)!

Some pics of me at the beach!

I sure hope we can go again!

First Holiday

Tomorrow I will leave for my first holiday.
My family and I are going up the to the northern border of NSW.
We are going to stay with some of our (I can safely say I AM part of this family) relatives for a week.
Last year, the family went up there, but didn't take myself or Oscar along.
I've been told there are three other dogs I can play with, a dam I might swim in, and lots of space to run and romp. There is also a beach close by that we might visit. I have not been to a beach before, but have been told it's like the biggest swimming pool you can imagine, with a enormous sandpit. This sounds like so much fun!!!
I can't wait. I'll tell you all about my trip when I come back.
Bye for now!!!
Love Smiley Miley xxx

P.S. I will have my 2nd birthday on holidays! What a present!

Getting Dry

After the fun of having a bath, I must then dry.
You see, I love water, but I also love dirt.
When mixed, they make a sloppy liquid called mud.
Mud is fun; I love fun - for that reason, I love mud. Sarah does not love mud, she hates it. :(
So after giving me baths, before I can run and make some mud, Sarah puts me on a lead.
As you can see in these two photos, I am getting dry Sarah's way.
My way is sooo much better. Don't you think???
