Welcome To My Garden (Part 1)

I think I'll introduce to you some of our garden. Quite a few photos sorry, hope they won't be a problem. Since we didn't get the full tour as the batteries on the camera went dead, and then we had a thunderstorm with hail (which I'm good with, and was not scared at all) we shall do this as a part 1. :)
Oh, notice my new fur-style. It is too short, but must be even, so it will grow long and beautiful. :)

Hmm... where should we go first?

(Sorry my nose is cut out, I started to move in the direction of 1st stop, but I blame Sarah's camera skills. ;P)

I'll show you the pretty little ring in the center of the garden - the obvious first stop.
There is a Peppercorn tree (which Sarah remembers it being planted as a sapling a few years ago). Around the Peppercorn are Snapdragons of various colours, and the orange ones are Nasturtiums. :)

In I go, lots of lovely smells.

Sarah loves this photo! I was sniffing the Snapdragons. Sadly, they don't really have a smell. :( Sure are pretty though.


Hehehe.. this photo is nice too, but I look a bit funny! Could I be waving hello with my ear? Hello!

Now I'm thinking of where to go next...

Sarah loves this photo too! Twinkie would've liked it for her "show us your tongues" competition!

Can you see the other veggies? Maybe the passion-fruit.. or the lime tree.. or the strawberries (yum).. or even the Frangapani tree..? I must show you these in part 2, and the other veggie patches. Oh, tip - don't eat the Rosemary you can see. BAD FOR DOGS!!!



Hmm... starting to get tried of the veggie patch - let's go.


Next.. is the SWEET PEAS! I love these.. there would be a lot more, but we recently picked a bouquet of them (along with the Snapdragons) for our Nanny (Grandma). :)

Enough for the Sweet-Peas, I'll show you when I get taller.. or they come down more - either way will do.


What a beautiful day it has been so far.. you aren't getting bored of flowers are you? Maybe some of the boys are.. or Puddles. To busy looking at yourself, and planning about how to get rid of mini-Puddles... ANYWHOOSE....

Last stop. I love this chair! Mum likes to sit out here and watch the chickens.. cluck cluck cluck. :)

Now, after these photos were taken, the bestest photo ever was about to be taken on this chair.. when, the camera died! DUH DUH DUNNNN!!!! :((

Pees.. Sarah & I were extra careful about the flowers, and none were harmed. Oh I'm not allowed in the veggie patch, but I wanted to show you! A few photos won't hurt will they? I think not. Oh, if so, Sarah put me up to it... hehehe...

Great Dog Trainer

I've just found a wonderful dog trainer! He has the best tutorials I can find, and sure has a cute dog too. :) HERE is the link to find out how to get treats for playing fun games, and making your humans happy. They call it "training" but who trains who? I think I train Sarah!!! :D

Many of these tricks I have taught myself (that's the Poodle kicking in), but I want to train Sarah many new ones!

Friendly Friday #2!

 

Today's Friendly Friday featured blog is.... (drum roll please)... ROD!
Rod is a Dachshund and sure is a cutie!
Look at him!


He loves to nap (like all dogs), run and play, adores his squeaky toys, plus also chases squirrels! I don't know if he has ever caught any, but chasing is chasing. :)

Oh, and he loves his foodables too. Always asking for more...

Today's featured blog on Curious Cavorting Cavoodle's Friendly Friday is.... KIRBY! 

Kirby is a Terrier Mix, and was adopted from an animal shelter. Now he lives with his Mum in  Michigan, where he is much loved. :)

He is well trained and can do these tricks:

• Crawl
• Down
• Drop it (a work in progress)
• Paw (Shake)
• Roll Over
• Sit
• Stay
• Wait (with a treat on the floor-torture!)
• Walk fast, walk slow

Isn't he smart? Oh, and on the subject of brains, he is also a looker! Brains AND Looks!

The Castle

For any of those furiends of Oscar Sparky, you will know that a Castle was made recently.

Danny Boy made Sparky a Castle out of large building blocks, but it was pretty small. It was really funny when he made it as it was not strong at all (and that's putting it mildly)... Sarah helped and soon he learnt the art of block building! Sparky conveniently left that part out in his post.. :P

Well, Sparky didn't like it, and too be honest, with good reason too. Sorry Danny Boy, but I think you need more practice.. and a lot more bricks - it was SMALL!
Anyway, since that didn't work, Danny Boy got a large blue blankie and stretched it over the lounge, making a den like place. :) Still, Sparky was very ungrateful. He still wasn't satisfied! He was pushed in the Blanket Castle, and forced to have a nap. Anyway, after he escaped, I decided to go inside. Wow, it was FUN! Why didn't Sparky like it? Unappreciative boy! So for a while Danny Boy & I played in the Castle. What a fun time I had! Anyway, it was destroyed. Funny story too. Seeing as it wasn't hard to make, I decided to jump right on top of it for fun! Sparky says "She loved it so much, she tried to hug it by jumping on top. Of coarse, if she studied science and gravity like I did back in the days, she would have known it would fall to the ground with her on top." Those were his exact words. NOT TRUE! It was funny, and to make this fun little prank of mine and even better, Danny Boy was inside when I leapt on top! Hehehe.. FUNNY! Oh another thing, Sparky likes to feel good about himself.. so he made up used his imagination about the studied science and gravity thing. He wasn't lying, just trying to impress me, Sarah, and anyone else (such as Mr. Pip, Oskar, Twix, the Road Dogs, Doxie Rod, and Bunny & family). Sparky is silly sometimes!

My New Jumper!

In Australia, we are now Spring. I've been meaning to do this post for a while, but kept forgetting..

Anyway, Sarah knitted me a jumper for Winter, I'm full grown, so it will fit me forever and ever.
