A New Award: The Doggie-Bloggie Award!

I love awards and have often wondered where they came from. I have decided to create my own!

Now, I will state some rules to this cute award:
1. Please thank the dog who gave this to you, and link to them.
2. Name 10 (yes 10) things about yourself. Try to be as creative as possible.
3. Then, award 15 doggie bloggers. It doesn't matter whether they are old or new. I believe all furends deserve this and can't be denied just because you have known them for a while or not.
4. Comment on the new receivers of this award's blog to let them know of the love. 
5. And the most important: HAVE FUN!!!

Now, I won't do these rules as I haven't really received them.

His Name Isn't Oscar Anymore

He have decided to change Oscar's name to Sparky. The name Sparky suits him. Why, well he has sparkly eyes, and he may also be standing still, and suddenly just start running like crazy, like a spark has hit him. :)

Oscar Sparky is 6 years old, and you may think he is too old to change his name. On another dogs, yes, but on Sparky, no. You see, he is VERY disobedient. You will call him by the name Oscar, and he will look up (usually anyway), but might not come. He will only come if he feels like it, even then, he will come very slowly, maybe even go and do something else, or take a detour on the way. He comes just as well when you call him Sparky. As long as you call him with a 'happy voice' he usually comes. This is just the start of his disobedience. But, since he is my furend (and he has a blog, so he might read this), I'm not going to list any other things he does.

Sparky loves playing the piano, and even enjoyed sitting here. Me, well I don't like piano playing. I'm more of an electric guitar pup. ;P

Now, I must tell you 7 things that you don't know about me -
1. Each month, I eat my flee tablet with it being wrapping in anything (although I like that too), as I think it is YUMMY!
2. I'm very protective of my toys, and will get mad if Oscar steels them, but am fine if humans take them (though I try to get them back).
3. Sometimes I steel food of peoples plate if it is in my reach (hehehe...)
4. Once Sarah was reading a book (I think it was Twilight), and she asks if I wanted to read it. I moved my eyes across the pages (Sarah says it looks as if I were actually reading), and when I got to the bit where the evil vampire James tried to kill Bella, I got scared, and moved my head away, and cried!
5. For some reason I'm not allowed Chocolate. :(
6. I like looking at the shiny colours of CDs in the sun.
7. I don't really like blogging.

Walkie Today

Just a quick update. Today Oscie and Me went for a Walkie! We ran up to the corner store to get something (some sort of food, but I can't have any), and went back home. It was a simple walk, but very peaceful. :)
The Sun was beautiful and warm, the grass was freshly mowed, so we didn't have to jump over it (I guess that would have been fun for me anyway :D ). I really enjoyed it!

Tinkerbell

Tinkerbell the Cow is actually Sarah's. Even though she isn't mine, I still really love her. :)
I'm usually not allowed to play with Tinkers, as "I have ALL my toys, and shouldn't be playing with Sarah's, as it will make me think Tinkerbell is mine". Phh.
I still like her though. Sarah was reading on the lounge, and Tinkerbell just happened to be nearby... so, I took advantage of the opportunity.... :D hehehe...

An Award!

This award, I must state 7 things about myself. Here I go...

1. I'm the runt of my litter, but am now bigger and have grown to my proper size.
2. I get jealous if someone else gets more attention than me, and will do my very cute howlish-bark.
3. The beach is my favourite place to visit and play. :)
4. Every meal time (when I'm not on the lead), I will place my chin on Sarah's lap and suck up for scraps. I never get any, but am forever hopeful.
5. At night time, I will sleep on Sarah's bed in the bottom left-hand corner. She doesn't make me, I just go there anyway.
6. I eat my kibble each morning, but find it boring - I WANT PEOPLE FOOD!
7. Even though I don't really like my kibble as much as scraps, I will go and sit at my place, while waiting for my bowl to be filled.

Who Says Boys Don't Wear Pink?

Boy's can't wear pink? Who thought of that? I think it is a very silly thing, and to prove it, here is a photo of Oscar (who is a boy) wearing a pink jumper. Of coarse, I wouldn't let him wear my clothes, so he is wearing COMPUTER CLOTHES! Hmmm.... this really gives people something to think about, doesn't it? =)

Cavoodle?

I have been getting a few comments lately asking what exactly a Cavoodle is.
A Cavoodle is a designer breed (not to be confused with mutts). It is a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle (Toy Poodle for me).

There are lots of other designer breeds, such as
Labradoodles (Labrador x Poodle),
Goldador (Labrador x Golden Retriever),
Spoodles (Cocker Spaniel x Poodle),
Schnoodle (Schnauzer x Poodle),
Pekapoos (Pekingese x Poodle),
Yorkiepoo (Yorkshire Terrier x Poodle),
Maltepoo (Maltese Terrier x Poodle),
Maltese Shih Tzu (Maltese Terrier x Shih Tzu) and many, many more.

Sunshine Is Beautiful

All my life I've enjoyed the sun's warmth on Sunny Days.
Now I'm older, it is no different. I love to feel the warmth on my golden fur.
I love to dream, where I may have any type of steak I wish, and I love the sounds of the birds, the soft breeze blowing over my back, and of coarse the aroma of flowers floating through the air...

Scarfs Keep You Warm

I have discovered another way to keep warm during Winter: scarfs. Scarfs keep you warm, especially the ones which have a hoodie attached. :)

My New Blog

I have started a new blog. I will still post on Curious Cavorting Cavoodle, I won't forget it, or my furends. This blog is on all the dog breeds of the world. I shall post as many as I can, alphabetically, starting with the Affenpinscher. I will start with only purebreds, and then later add designer dogs (such as me, the Cavoodle), and maybe some popular mixed breeds; not all, as that would be impossible, but as much as I can handle. I believe being a dog myself will help me with the information. :)

Chessy Treats!

Yesterday, Sarah made me a batch of cookies!
She used Sugar's recipe. If you want the recipe, click HERE.
After the dough got lower, she added some raisins*. After it got even smaller, she added a couple teaspoons of smooth peanut butter. It coated the top like a fine icing, and went crispy. :)
We didn't have a bone shape cutter that was a good size, so she used heart shaped cutters, along with stars, circles, cats, fire-hydrants, also, we have lots of dog shaped cutters! There are Dachshunds, Malteses, Golden Retrievers, Alaskan Malamutes, Chihuahuas, Schnauzers, Pomeranians, and many more! One didn't work, and when it was cooked, it looked like a camel howling! I don't see why Sarah bothered making shapes, as I just eat them before I even realize it was shaped.
When Sarah was making them, I watched her from the kitchen floor, as I knew they were for me. :) When they were baking in the magic cooking machine, I guarded them. Of coarse, I wouldn't hurt anyone, but I watched the cookies slowly rise.

Here is Oscar eating his. He ran off with it. I ate mine too fast for a photo. Although, the rest are MINE! ALL MINE!



You really should get your humans to make you some. They are very yummy (even the cookie dough)! Careful, they addictive! If you don't want them, I'll happily eat them for you. hehehe.

* Do not put raisins in Cookies. Sarah had a dog cookie recipe from Dr. Harry, but it turns out raisins are poisonous for us dogs. All cookies that had raisins in it have been thrown away. Thank you Tessa for this information.
